• Backend:  FastAPI,  SQLAlchemy,  Alembic,  pydantic-settings.
• Database:  MariaDB 11 in production; SQLite for local development and tests.
• Frontend:  Astro (static site generation), Svelte for the interactive scoring tool, ECharts for the radar visualisation, KaTeX for the formulas on the algorithm page.
• Typography:  Fraunces (variable serif, by Phaedra Charles & Undercase Type) for prose and display; JetBrains Mono for numbers, weights, and code.
• Hosting: Krystal Hosting (Ruby plan, shared cPanel + LiteSpeed). Deployment is rsync over SSH from the maintainer’s laptop — no CI.
